The error 504 was on my IPad.  Model # of Cable Box  -TG862G/CT

 

I had this problem once before and it was corrected by Comcast.

Call into  Comcast @ 1-800-266-2278 or 1-800-934-6489 and speak with a CSR to begin the repair process again.
