Error 44

Error 44 - Ever since Comcast upgraded to X1, watching  Xfinity on my computer is a nightmare.  It will start playing my tv shows/movies only to suddenly stop and say the video can't be played (error 44)

How can I fix this issue?  It stops every 6-10 mins.  So watching a 30 min show is agonoy.  HELP!
