Error 400

Error 400

I receive this message when trying to play any video on my computer and Ipod:  Error 400

Sorry, we've experienced some dificulty playing your video.

 

I have deleted my cookies and cache on the computer.  I have deleted and reinstalled the Xfinitity app, but nothing is working.  Please help.  Here is my computer information.

Watching videos on your iPod and on your computer are two different things. Since you posted this in the XfinityTV Online Help Board and not the Xfinity TV Mobile Apps Board, we will concentrate on the PC first.

 

What videos are you trying to watch? I would like to test them out and then I will be able to further assist you.

I am able to watch videos from the big non cable networks like ABC, NBC, CBS...as well as some cable network TVs shows like, Syfy, A&E, and History.  But I'm not able to watch able to watch anything from Starz and other cable TV shows for example Nick, Nick Jr, Spike, and TBS.  I can't differentiate why I can watch some cable network shows but not others.

 

This is consistent with the App as well.

The videos not working for you use Microsoft Silverlight. The videos working for you are using Flash Player.

 

Try completely un-installing Silverlight and then try installing it again. Go here for step-by-step instructions:
