DVR

Trying to set up my DVR and get an error message that DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household.  I have the service, pay for it on my bill, but can't access.

Just going off of the error code you are receiving, it sounds like your model DVR could be an older model and not compatible with online DVR manager.

You might need to upgrade your DVR to a newer model, I would recommend you call your local Comcast support and check about your DVR model.  It could also be a server error they can fix.

What dvr is it, its mostly only available to motorola boxes

I am having the exact problem.  DVR Manager is available in my area: 96021.  My DVR box is a Motorola DCH3416, which is on the Comcast list of compatible boxes.  I have had it for several months (more than the 24hr waiting period).

 

Does DVR Manager work with the Safari 5.0.6 browser on my Mac?

Try updating to Safari 5.1 or use another browser. Safari 5.0 is not supported.

 

Let me know the results.
