DVR recordings not showing on Xfinity TV app

Hi Chad, I live in Erial, NJ and a lot of the shows I have on my X1 dvr are not showing up in my comcast tv app. Also the app is showing a bunch of shows that aren't on my main box anymore. Wondering what the issue is.....

Sure for example I have a couple episodes of the following on my main dvr box but none of them are showing up in the tv app. As for the old recordings showing up in the app there is a packers game I recorded from 12/28 and a flyers game from 2/15 and a few other programs that aren't on my main box anymore.

 If your talking about The Following, i don't see that program scheduled on your cloud scheduler. I would recommend deleting the current series recordings and setting up a new recording.

But if they are on my dvr shouldn't I be able to get them via the app?

I am in Novato, CA (north of San Francisco) and on my app I only show under Saved "For You" and it shows a show we watched last night On Demand but it doesn't show any of my recorded shows. Do I have the Cloud? If I do, what do i need to do to get my recorded shows to show up?

  Your all set now, the cloud dvr codes have been added to your account.  Please note, you will only see recordings in the app from today on, previously recorded shows will only be accessible via the cable box.

Cloud DVR has been working great until last Friday.  It did not record a single show over the weekend until Sunday evening.  Now it only seems to be showing about 1/2 the shows that have been recorded on the cable box DVR.  Any help?  Should I call phone support?

Hi Chad (and others rom Comcast support):

 

I recently upgraded to the X1 service in Connecticut. My recordings and scheduled shows appear fine through my set top box. However, when I try to access them in the Xfinity TV iOS app, it indicates I have no shows scheduled or recorded. Do you know if it takes up to 24-48 hours for this to happen after activation? Any others thoughts? Thanks for your help and insight!

I'm in foster city CA and they just activated my anywhere DVR cloud service but no recordings on my box are showing on the app. Any ideas? Thanks.

I just installed the app while traveling. Only the DVR recordings from last night show up as saved and my DVR capacity is also wrong. I reviewed my DVR recordings on the xfinity website and all my recordings appear there but not on the app. Will the older recordings ever show up on the app? Not really useful if not.

I also have this issue.  I used to see all recorded shows on the app, now I only see a couple.  I am in the Nashville market.

 The cloud dvr rate codes fell off your account for some reason, did you repackage into a new offer for DVR service?   I sent your info to you local billing teams to have the codes added back.

  You will only see new recordings in the app once cloud dvr has been activated.  So any recordings prior to cloud dvr being activated are not available for viewing online.   That is why your storage capicity is different on the STB and TV app.   Older recordings will never show up.

  Are you still seeing this issue?  If so I recoemmed, deleting the series recordings that are set up on your box and reset them so they begin to record in the cloud as well.   You will only have access to recordings online once cloud dvr has been activated.  For example, cloud dvr was enabled on 5/10, you will only see recordings from 5/10 and on.. Anything prior will only be accessible on your cable box.

What do you mean until cloud DVR is activated? What do I have to do to activate my service? I am using my DVR. The tech did not tell me I needed to activate "cloud" DVR.

If you can see completed recordings using the xftinity TV app then cloud DVR is enabled.

I am in the philadelphia Market and have X1 just got new adroid phone, moved from windows. The Xfinity TV app plays shows but under DVR there are no recording listed. I read that cloud service needs to be activated?

  Cloud DVR is activated on your account, you will only see newly recorded shows once the cloud has been activated.  Previously recorded shows will not be available online.

I am having the same problem. My x1 was installed yesterday and the two programs I have DVRed so far are not showing up in the app.

 

Can you activate the Cloud DVR for my account as well?

Can you schedule a recording from the app? Select a program from the guide and select record.

I am having the same problem. The X1 DVR was upgraded on Friday and previously was not adding any recordings to my APP. Is there a chance you can take a look at my account and see if there is something wrong? I live in DC.

I've been having issues with my TV app synching.   It seems to add some new shows from time to time, however it never removes episodes that are deleted from the DVR.

 

Any advice or help you can give would be apprecitated.

I am in Boca Raton (Palm Beach), FL and the TV app doesn't currently display my dvr recordings, nor does it even appear to have that function. Do I know if it is available in this market?

Hey Chad... Now that engineering got my mobile recordings to appear... About a week ago most of my recordings disappeared off of the home boxes!! They still appear on the mobile app. The box was only 45% full. And we are talking over 20 episodes gone. Any tips? I tried synching the Dvr... And power cycling.

Hi, Bainbridge island, 98110...x1 DVR with recorded shows but absolutey bring shows on the tv app under saved. Could comcas chad look into this please?

Yep it's available in Denver now, you will need to contact support to have the cloud dvr codes added your account.

Just got the service with Cloud DVR turned on in Venice, Fl.  Great feeling to be able to watch tv on IPAD!  Unfortunately DVR shows do not show up.  on the Xfinity TV App, under Saved there is only one choice - For You.  no other choices. Had an online chat with someone in the morning, and spent another hour on the phone in the afternoon - no luck.  It is still not working.  Would appreciate any assistance you can offer.

If you just had it turned on, none of the recordings will be there EXCEPT for the ones that recorded AFTER you had it turned on.

I live in Phoenixville PA.  We have X1 platform with cloud based DVR. Notice in the last few weeks that my DVR'd shows are no longer showing up on my IPad X1 TV app. How can I get access to my DVR from the app again??

Is it all your DVR recordings not showing up on your IPad or just some of them?  Also, if you connect to the Xfininty TV web portal from a computer, do any of your recordings show up there, or is it blank also?

 

I have noticed in the past few days on my X1 system that some on my recordings fail to record to the cloud, and therefore do not show up on the portal or apps.
