DVR control on internet does not work

DVR control on internet does not work

When trying to change channels on tv from the online tv listings I get a "subscription  required" message for all channels........ It used to work.

Also, is it possible to view a list of programs recorded on the DVR at the online site? And if so play them from the online site?

Thanks

Re: DVR control on internet does not work

olywash,

"When trying to change channels on tv from the online tv listings I get a "subscription  required" message for all channels........ It used to work." - What is the exact message that you are getting? Are you logged in with your Comcast ID or Comcast.net e-mail address? Does it work in another browser?

Also, please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.

"Also, is it possible to view a list of programs recorded on the DVR at the online site?" - You can view a list of scheduled recordings online but you are not able to view what has been already recorded. This is a feature, as well play recordings from online, are being taking under consideration for a future release.

Thanks,
Joe

Re: DVR control on internet does not work

This is the message I get (for all channels):

A subscription is required to watch this program.

Please call 1-800-COMCAST or visit xfinity.com/tv-movies to subscribe.

I am signed in but I have not tried it in another browser - this worked until recently I think. Also, another problem was just fixed after a live chat session - the default on record was for +1 hour. That's OK now but this other issue has arisen.

Here is the divice information - an "invalid HTML" was removed - I have no idea what that was....

Re: DVR control on internet does not work

It is working now.........  DVR settings "TV Control" button was OFF for some reason. I changed it to ON and it now works.
