DVR cable box

I just received a new DVR cable box to replace an old broken one.  It doesn't show on my DVR manager.  How can I get it to show on the DVR manager so I can program from my iphone?

It can take up to 24 hours for the new box to fully sync. Has it been longer than 24 hours?
