DVR Manager, no compatible device found

DVR Manager, no compatible device found

DVR Manager service is availible in my area but the website reports " No compatible device found" when I try to set it up. I just replaced my old STB with a newer one but I have the same problem. Anybody know the reason for this?

 

STB  Cisco RNG200N

dvr manager is only available for motorola boxes or areas that have anyroom dvr with cisco or SA boxes.

So in other words I would have to rent more equipment and pay for additional sevices or trade my box again for a motorola. Does the Londonderry NH office offer motorola STB?

DVR Manager is expected to be available to all of our Scientific-Atlanta and Cisco branded DVRs by the end of the year. 

We have already started the site by site activation (DVR Manager requires some additional new guide software and some infrastructure to be activated).

Like the original poster, the website indicates that DVR Manager is available in my area but no compatible device was found.

 

I have 2 Cisco RNG200 boxes.  Do I need to exchange my units?  Or will guide upgrades (and whatever else is necessary) be pushed through to the units via the cable?

 

Any advice you have would be appreciated.
