DVR Manager is available in your area. we are unable to detect a compatible DVR

DVR Manager is available in your area. we are unable to detect a compatible DVR

I have a motorola dch 3416 and Im getting a error message that isays "DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household".  I already called and they told me they sent a refresh signal to the box or something like that then wait 6 hours befor i try again.  I did that but i still getting the same error.  There is anything else I should do to get my dvr manager working?

No boxes are showing on your account.

 

Did you recently just hook it up?

 

Is it connected properly?

 

Do you have any other boxes in your home?

yes i recently hook it up, I also noticed that my account still shows my old address ( i moved this past saturdary)  Can you fix that for me?

it is connected properly and i do have another box in the house but it's not a dvr

it takes a few days for comcasts systems to update with the new info thats why its not working you need to give it a few days.

Also I have a dvr (living room) and a cable box for on demand(bedroom) and it doesnt work i moved it from one side of the room to the other and i didnt unplug anything but the charger and the tv plug but it stoped working after i moved it even after i moved it backit didnt work. What should i do?

in your box guide go to remote setup and see what it says in there.

So the DVR Manager did work for you but it hasn't since you pysically moved the location of the box? Can you please tell me the make and model of your set-top boxes so we can further assist you.

I waited a week already and still not able to activate the dvr manager, How much longer should I wait or do I need to contact comcast to fix this issue?

Our team said that they have left a message for you on 5/16 informing you that your boxes are not compatible but to contact your local Comcast Service Center to see if they have compatible boxes available in your area.

 

Did you get this message? Are you referring to a new box that you have gotten?

I did not get any messages and the box I'm talking about its the motorola dch 3416.  As far as I know it should be compatible; am I wrong?

no you are not wrong that box should work as I have it and it works fine.
