DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are unable to detect

DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are unable to detect

I am new to Jupiter FL Comcast.  I have a brand new Cisco HDDVR.  I have tried everything to setup my DVR manager including a hard reset of my DVR, uninstalling the app and reinstaling after hard reset to no avail.  I have read other posts about this problem on the forum, but I don't see any resolution.  The message that I receive is the following, "DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are
unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household." 

I have signed into my account on the computer and checked for my DVR under TV and setup, but the DVR is not there either. 

Any help would be very much appreciated.

You are in an area that does not have DVR Manager access. DVR Manager is expected to be available to all of our Scientific-Atlanta and Cisco branded DVRs in the near future.


We have already started the site by site activation (DVR Manager requires some additional new guide software and some infrastructure to be activated).

How will I be able to tell when the DVR Manager becomes available in my area?

Also, why does my message indicate that the DVR Manager is available in my area when clearlly it is not?

I am having the same issue.  I have 2 new cisco HD DVR's and one Scientlific Atlanta HD DVR.  Says its available in my are, but no devices detected. Some people have said I needed a new box, but they said about a year ago it would be available in a couple of months.

I moved to Florida recently.  Up in Virginia we had Direct TV for 17 years.  Seems when they roll out a new product, it is available for everyone at the same time.  They roled out DVR Manager about 5 years ago.  Sure was nice having access to your DVR from anywhere.  My wife and I used it extensively.

Sounds like it might be a long time coming here from what HHMAN36 just wrote.
