DVR Manager/Being given either wrong info or not 100% accurate info.

DVR Manager/Being given either wrong info or not 100% accurate info.

I have been waiting for the dvr manager and smartphone application to be available in my area. I tried this week to set up the dvr manager and it stated it was available in my area but my dvr was not compatible. I did a chat with comcast and they stated I simply needed to swap my dvr box for a compatible model. She provided me a list of Motorolla dvrs. 

 

After removing my cable box from my entertainment closet ( not an easy process) I was told at the local comcast service center location that I was given wrong information and that the dvr manager is not available. I had to put my dvr back in my closet. 

 

Please advise what Comcast is going to do to help me with this.
