Comcast TV site not recognizing I'm on my home network.

So I was having a problem watching Live TV on my home desktop computer from tv.xfinity.com. It kept saying I had to be watching from my home. I was home and hard wired from to the modem. I called and spoke with a tech. After trying several things, resetting the modem, releasing and renewing the ip address, etc., I thought I had found the problem by using a different browser. However I found when I closed and reopened the different browser I got the same message. I then tried clearing browser data, cookies, etc. and found this to work. Doing this every time I want to use Xfinity TV on my computer would be impractical. This seems to be a glitch related to Comcast wanting you to be home to watch the majority of programming on their site. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this problem but I wanted you to be aware of my situation.
