Chrome Extension

I've updated my extension for the online tv guide:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hide-tv-listings-htvl/emahdgfobodhknccbigjmnhpgihmmjbf

It allows you to create custom filters, sort A-Z or 0-9, and hide channels you don't need to see.

As an aside, if anyone can tell how to send the change channel command to the box, I will reinstate that feature that Comcast removed.  I've tried before just goofing around, and could only get an unauthorized error.

Re: Chrome Extension

Are there any additional changes needed for Chrome?  I installed the extension but I don't see the added options.

Re: Chrome Extension

Did you refresh the tv guide?

edit- I just updated the app last night, perhaps you got the old version.  When it updates for you, it should appear.  The newest version is 2.0, I'm sure you got 1.1.  The old version worked under the old website, and does nothing to the new website.

Re: Chrome Extension

The extension says it is installed.  And the version number is 2.0.  And I have reloaded Chrome.  I can't believe I would have to do a reboot of my Win7Pro PC to get it to be installed.

I can't quite read the URL you are using.

Re: Chrome Extension

Thats perfect!  If you click on htvlOptions, you can customize the filters to match what ever you like to watch.

Re: Chrome Extension

If the image you posted is a screen shot, it is working as expected.  The extension adds the buttons that are appearing next to the Filters(1) button.  Those buttons give you the ability to hide channels you don't want to see, sort alphabetically or numerically, and filter based on your preferences.  Please see the video where I explain how it works:

Re: Chrome Extension

I've updated the extension to handle the recent changes to the website.  The update is being published now, and should be available to everyone in the next hour or so.
