Channel Site/App Says Network Not Included

On more than one occasion, both through the Xfinity Android App (ICS on an Asus TF101) and through an affiliate station's web site, I've been told that a station I can access on my TV is not a part of my subscription package. Why is this? If I can access AMC on my TV, why can't I access Talking Bad on the AMC website when it syncs with my Comcast account? If I can access BBC America on my TV, why are BBC America shows no longer accessible through my Xfinity App?

 

Wholly confused, here.

Some channels don't allow their shows on mobile devices, there's no discovery channel either

But, usually, if they don't allow it on a mobile device, that's what it'll say.

 

And what about when the APP says I don't get a channel I know I get?

 

AMC, for instance. I may get the cheapest version of Comcast, but I get AMC through my cable box. However, when I went to watch Breaking Bad in the Xfinity app, it had the little key (locked). I clicked on it anyway, and it told me "a subscription is required to watch this content." Okay, but I DO subscribe.

 

Anyone have any ideas.?
