I'm trying to record an NHL Center Ice game that I know starts today at 4:30pm PST
There is a TBD block of the correct length, but I can't click it to record.
The channels I want to record are:
460 (Game4), 461 (Game5)

I take it by your post that you are away from your home and are trying to do this? make sure you have the right zip code set in your account.
The zip code is correct and I've tried many different lineups. All of them show TBD for the 4:30-7 time block for those two channels.
Another month, same probelm, no resolution. Half the shows from Feb 1 forward show TBD. Same in January, same in december, same in November. Please don't ask me for my zip code again.
Can anyone tell me what's on tonight? I've got TBD across 5 of 6 channels during prime time. Same as last month and the month before and the month before and the month before
Comcast is showing the same level of competence in updating the TV listings as they show in everything else they do.
I have look at TVGuide, AOL and ZAP2IT. ZAP2IT is good, but I can not up date my DVR. Maybe if I move to AT&T I can do what I want.
I'm getting a lot of TBDs, but for things that are airing right now, not just for things a week away. Some of these include CBS, ABC Family, FX, TBS, and many more.
TV listings are still not showing Blackhawks hockey games (on ComcastSportsNet, BTW).
What is your Zip Code, service area, and what channel the Blackhawks are on.
Once I get this information, I will be able to further assist you.
On the website channel schedule for the past several days the TBD blank-outs have been increasing.
The [GUIDE] schedule from the remote is filled in.
Lots of TBDs here in zip 94087. And they are bad for current listing and future listings. ZAP2IT is fine as usual.
The Xfinity TV listing website is a joke. If you try to program your DVR from this website, you will find that many programs are listed as TBD, even those that supposed to start in an hour or two. It seems that personnel responsible for making the website useful take a nap or simply ignore us, the customers.
I pay $240 a month for a bundled service and have to shift through my DVR and channels trying to find shows I am interested in and want to record at the time when I am working.
Good by Xfinity, hello U-Verse!!!!
Get a TiVo.
Seriously, I have used the TiVo service for several years and love it. You can search for programs by Title, Actor, Directory, or a number of other criteria. You can set up automatic recordings of your shows with the Season Pass Manager. It also learns what kinds of shows you like to watch and records "suggested" shows.
I never have to channel surf, I always have shows I am interested in watching any time I turn on my TV.
Thank you for alerting us about this issue. Our team is working on it now and I will update this thread when it is resolved.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
Comcast Joe, as always we appreciate your help, but this problem happens on a monthly basis. When it does, you ask about a particular show and zip code as if this is an isolated problem - it's not. Right now on 10 major channels there are 32 TBDs in a 4 hour window. Looking at prime time tonight, there are 13 TBDs on 9 channels. The will fix this and around the end of February it will happen again. How can we get a permanent solution to this recurring problem?
TBD was intermittent at 93277. Now more and more appearing.
How someone can feel it's a browser problem, I don't comprehend as A browser doesn't add or change text into individual block of listings.
2-3-4-6-8-9-10-11-29-30-37-41-42-43-54-55-57 on and on thru the entire list posted TBD.
Tested on 4 computers,winXP, win7, Chrome,FF,IE..
Maybe Comcat has employed a new programmer??
Does someone have a link for a differant listing, but it must be Comcast channel #'s.
Things can only get better when they're bad.
It's not a browser issue, it's an Xfinity issue. This happens every month toward the end of the month, but it gets worse every time. During this period until they fix it, you will need to use Zap2it or TVGuide to get accurate channel listings and then use the on screen tv guide to set recordings.
CBS - PGATOUR golf on channel 706. Shows TBD at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Try to schedule from Iphone Xfinity Connect APP.
The app crashed when I try to press the RECORD button.
I tried the WEB version on my PC. No luck. Cannot even try
Going back on all the comments. Support level 2 & 3 needs to update the level 5 support
(Dept sup or mgr) as this appears to be across the the US. Sure are a lot of POed customers.
What is happening with the tv-listings on the xfinitytv site? This week many of the regular progams are listed at TBD. That means I cannot use the web site to program the DVR. The GUIDE on the TV shows the programs correctly and they can be scheduled for recording, but then they do not show up on the internet at http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/mytv/dvr?cmpid=xf_dash_dvr
I was wondering the same thing. Plus a lot of the program descriptions are generic - MASH - a story about a medical hospital during the Korean War. Pretty much useless.
This just started happening 2 days ago. At home the channel listings are fine, it's only when I access TV listings through the Internet or on my android smart phone do I see TBD.
Can you please look at your TV Listings grid now and let me know if your listings are now correct.
Atta Boy, well done.
I posted yesterday, this AM all is fixed.
now for the 300 other zips.
I appreciate this forum and the support.
And thank you.
I need to say that more often so I don't byte the wife head off.
Although the TBDs seem to be gone the listings are not totally OK in 94087. The internet listing for 10pm tonight (Jan 29) on ABC shows "Body of Proof" whereas ZAP2IT and the DVR Guide list "Jimmy Kimmel Live". The correct answer is Jimmy Kimmel Live. However, listing errors like that are a topic for a different thread.
I am glad to hear that your listings look better.
If this problem appears again, please create a new thread and link to this thread as a reference.
