The episode is available online. You can watch it here:
This episode is definitely NOT available on XFinity. Only episodes 1 - 4 are available and listed - despite it being 48 hours after the air date,
How does this happen?
When will it be fixed?
Online viewing is my primary reason for having this service - as I travel frequently and I watch TV/Movies more from a PC or iPad than from home. PLEASE get this fixed!
We're sorry, this video is no longer available.

Please Joe.. Help.. when will they add this video back to xfinity.comcast.net
Someone from Xfinity is going to contact me, they respond pretty quickly on their facebook page it seems. Hopefully it will be fixed.
I am using a Mac 10.6.8 and tried the video on both Google Chrome version 30.0.1599.69 and an old version of Firefox (14) and I am still not seeing this issue.
Can you please tell me what operating system and web browser you are using.
Also, besides the link that I posted, are you getting this same error message when you try playing the video from the Boardwalk Empire page?
Is it only occurring for this episode? (Season 4/Episode 5 titled Boardwalk Empire 41)
I am using a Mac 10.7.5 and Safari Version 6.0.5 (7536.30.1)
On the Boardwalk Empire page you can see the episode under "Watch on TV" but where it is under "Watch Online" is NOT there at all.
The link that you provided and was on the front page a few days ago just said that it is unavailable. This is the only episode it is doing it on.
What happens when you try playing the video from the Available on TV page? Try clicking the green play button to the left of the asset
I am using Win 7 and the current Firefox. I am haveing the same issue. There is no link on the show page, and direct links just say "Sorry this video no longer available"
I also tried this on a different internet connection (at my friend's house) and different computer on a Toshiba PC using Windows 7 and Firefox version 24.0... It still did not show up, the link still did not work and no green button appeared under the "Available on TV" option so I know this is NOT my internet and NOT my computer, especially since other people are also experiencing this problem.
My guess is you see it maybe because you work for comcast? I am not sure, but I know I am not the only one out there with this problem.
Also I am getting very frustrated because the people who run Xfinity's facebook page asked for my number in a pv. msg and they promised someone would call me. I waited all day today and got no such call.
I WILL be calling Xfinity tomorrow and be complaining about this... this is frustrating... It is almost an entire week and I cannot take advantage of a service I was promised. I am sure others feel the same way. Again, not to mention that ALL EVENING on Sunday HBO was down apparently... When I called to find out why I couldn't watch the episode on the website I was told that HBO was down... So this is very frustrating and aside from you Joe... Which you only responded a few times with some suggestions and questions... it doesn't seem like Xfinity doesn't care to fix this... Well, I want a service I was promised, fixed... So... Yes... I WILL be calling tomorrow.
I was able to watch this episode by going to hbo.com and signing up for "HBOGO". It was easy enough and free, but that didn't explain why it won't work here. It aslo shows that HBO has not pulled the episode.
I have found the issue. The episode is missing from one of our data centers so that is why it is not missing for all customers.
I escalated this to the appropriate team and should be resolved shortly. When I receive an update, I will update this thread.
Sorry for the delay,
The episode should now appear here:
Let me know if the video is appearing and playing correctly.
It's amazing how addictive Xfinity online has become to my daily life, and others. I think I have watched tv online, one show or another every day for the past 2 years.
Just FYI. When the show wasn't online, my daughter suggested that I try HBOGO in the meanwhile. I logged in with my Comcast ID, and watched it on my Tab.
(Right now watching Deadwood.. for the umpteenth time.)
Thank you again!
