Anyplay setup

Anyplay setup

I haven't been able to get past the "unable to locate anyplay device" error on my initial setup. I have solid lights on the box, not blinking. It is connected correctly. The device is connected and has an ip from my newish belkin router. I have a new modem with docsic 3.0. My Internet is working fine. I'm using an ipad 2.0.

At ideas?

I have power cycled everything multiple times.

you need to call comcast I dont think anyone with anyplay posts here.

 

So you got the anyplay device hooked it up to your wireless router and did you call comcast to activate it, or call comcast at all?   Be careful when you call them the cs reps might not know what the anyplay device is, its not widely distributed and the cs reps are poorly trained on most things that in particular.

Yes, I called twice and I think it was activated. It was clear they didn't have much experience with these device.

I was just able to get it working.  I updated the firmware on my router and that seemed to do the trick.
