AnyPlay issues

I know, I'm slow at speaking up! I got AnyPlay about a year ago. All signal level are great, Device swapped three times, I have all video services, HSI, CDV, Skype, Xfinity Home, and AnyPlay. Network is great and works perfect for everything. I finally went to this web site : http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/rh to try and figure out why I get "Unable To Locate Device" error. I happen to notice it is missing a Device Model # and there for NOT ACTIVE! Now this is just getting frustrating.

Was your device ever working? I picked an anyplay device up about 2 months ago and up until today I could not get it working. I tried a different router and it instantly worked. For whatever reason the anyplay box did not like my router. The router I was using was a linksys cisco router and I slapped a plain ole netgear router on there just to test and it worked like a charm. Best of luck to you.

Nope, it has never worked, but we also are begining to think its my Router , I have DEFAULTED to factory reset, the only change I made was naming and securing the network, everything else is Factory settings and still NO GO, I even took down the Firewall and also attempted to add the AnyPlay Device to the DMZ and still no go, it might work for like 2-3 hours but then I get the "UNABLE TO LOCATE ANYPLAY DEVICE ON NETWORK"    I think I have also come to the point that Im going to go buy a new router Smiley Sad

I have no audio on AnyPlay. Anyone have this issue or know a fix? It was working fine last week.
