Another unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household

Have a newer Cisco RNG200, same issue as other postings, called service , they tell me a tech needs to visit to fix the issue . The box has been on-line for months

have the service available in my area.

The Cisco RNG's are not compatible yet.  The exception is a few locations for subscribers that just received Cisco AnyRoom DVR's.

 

The local system and the guide on each RNG must be upgraded to guide 2.0 first which will start happening this summer and continue throught the end of the years.

 

Once you receive notice that your guide will be upgraded to guide 2.0 you will know you are getting close, and Comcast will send you a email when it is available to you.

 

Do not put any effort into calling or having a tech out, it will not help.

Tech came out, tells me the service won't be available for 6 months in my neighborhood ( Comcast has been here since "97"), wonder why the support desk doesn't know this ?

Thanks for the reply, too late the tech was already on the way, he told me the same thing, service wasn't in my arear yet
