3222 FIX

I endured the slow deterioration of trying to watch movies and then series and getting the 3222 error message.  I had already changed to firefox - then the calls from Comcast  to restart silverlight - delete cookies & browser.  After 3 calls no one knew what a 3222 error was!  On the last Comcast call I we think we hit it.

 

I have Windows 7 , Internet Explorer 9.  The fix: (1) clear and go to firefox (2) In "Start" go to search and enter "Internet"  You will get 3 options: Internet Explorer (64 bit), Internet Explorer (no add-ons) and just plain Internet Explorer - click on plain Internet Explorer.  (3) Now you will have to sign back in to xfinity.  Then (at least for me) I can get both movies and series.
