X1 box needs repeated reboots

Every time the tv has been off for a few hours, the X1 box (XG1-P) will not send a signal to the tv. It does not seem to be responding to the remote, as the remote indicator is not lighting up when this problem arises. Power saver mode is turned off and the green power ring stays on when the problem is occurring. The only remedy is rebooting the cable box. The box and tv operate normally after the reboot. This is a brand new install and all connections and batteries have been checked and are good to go. Any suggestions??

If I had your issue, I would first call 1800comcast and if I couldn't get the issue resolved over the phone I would schedule a tech visit.

adding... that is the verson 1 Pace DVR that only has 5 tuners. Swap it out for a more modern XG1v3 or v4.

I can’t replicate the problem. It just happens, so I’m skeptical about how well the 1800 service folks will be able to help. I’ll give it a shot.
