Received new X1 DVR and 2 tv boxes. DVR works. Can't get either TV box to work. Spent hours on phone with Comcast. Have rebooted multiple times. One box can connect to DVR, ON Demand and Netflix but not live tv. The other box just says "something is not quite right." Comcast not coming until Friday. Any suggestions of what else to try?
were you on direct tv or other satellite provider? (thinking splitters may not be passing the signals. If you put the DVR on the other outlets does it work on each?
We were already Comcast. Just upgrading 5 year old boxes.
do you have the inside wiring plan by chance? anyone available that can check your wiring layout and splitters etc? The X1 set top boxes have to communicate using the coax wire in your home.
Guess I will wait for Comcast to come out if that's the only solution. Thanks
Comcast employees say you can add the inside wiring (call 800-Comcast) and keep it for 60 days before cancelling (at least) so no charges. I have it year round for peace of mind.
