So I replaced my X1 box for a AX013ANM....... XG1v3 Very Quiet!!!!
Trying to set up? I'm getting XRE-00071 and XRE-00294 codes?
Called tech support saying it a signal issue. Having a guy come out tommorrow..
Any thing I can do to resolve the issue myself, my internet is fine HD DTA's work fine.
Is it possible I got a bad box? Any tips

Since you have a tech coming out anyway, you can try a factory reset. Check your private messages for instructions
Can you tell me how to factory reset? I have been dealing with customer service for a week and nobody seems to know the problem and the nearest Xfinity store is an hour away. Help!
One thing that works sometimes with X1 STB's is to pull the power cord and plug it back in.
I’m having the same errors on a new X1 box - XRE-00071 and XRE-00294.
Tech support last night told me to get a new X1 box, which I did.
After installing the new box, getting the errors described above and was told by tech support to wait for a call from advanced support.
Would a factory reset help in this case?
