If the box in the den is off which is the main box. If you go into another room to watch the tv and turn off that tv.The Tv's in the bedrooms will freeze up. How do you stop the main box from going off at night.

sugarbear00, the main box is the central hub for the other boxes and it must be on in order for the other boxes to access the tuners. 

 

The main box will do an update every night where it will reboot. Otherwise, the main box must remain powered on.

Try this. Go to Settings > Power Preferences > There is a setting in there to power down after inactivity. Turn that off.
