New X1 Bix and modem won’t activate/connect

Exchanged my old x1 box and modem for newer ones today. Came home to set them up and they won’t connect. I’ve reset them multiple times by both unplugging and pressing the reset button. All connections are tight and in the right places. The tv just says it’s connecting to my entertainment and on the modem the us/ds light won’t stop blinking and the online light won’t light. When I try to send a reset signal it says my devices are connected. Please help.

Was there anything wrong with the previous equipment, what was the reason for the swap?

They were outdated.

Update: The signal amplifier was showing a warning light so it was no good. Once that was bypassed tv started working. 👍🏼 I’ll work on the internet tomorrow
