It is just below and to the right of the word "REMOTE". If you point a flashlight towards the front of the box and at the proper angle you can see it.
I am looking for the IR receiver location on an xfinity X1 "Pace XG1 cable box"....can anyone help me out?
It is amazing what you can find doing a simple Google search.........
Point anywhere feature
Er umm yes it is and the link I just posted are the instructions you need...
Any chance you read that document???
Kust received my self install kit yesterday and was going through the contents and saw the IR adapter. O noticed there was not a plug terminal on the back of the primary box that's all.
Is the primary box remote already a point anywhere compatible?
Yes I read it just now.
But I wasn't asking how to setup and pair. I simply wanted to know if the point anywhere adapter was needed for the primary set top box.
Looks like the adapter is only needed for the secondary set top box.
Only the RNG150N can use the XR8 adaptor... the Xi3 STB "can" RF Pair.
