Just an observation, the dvr dependability has become unreliable while watching.  I've noticed over the past few months that it skips forwards, sometime to the end, jumps ahead several seconds (vs. backwards), sometimes turns off and starts over.  This is very fIrustrating, why is it doing this now?  Can you let me know what you changed and will you address it or just leave it as is?

If it continues,I would swap it out, sounds like the hard drive is failing.

I am having the same issues! Started 2 weeks ago when they came and fixed an error code I was having because of signal strength (took 4-1/2 hours and the left a hole in my wall).
I have had 4 new DVR boxes and 2 techs and nothing seems to fix it. Recordings are randomly skipping ahead, can't FFW without it skipping to the end. If I just watch the recording without using the FFW, shows skip ahead 3 minutes or will jump back like 10 seconds and replay and the skip ahead.
Called today and the claim the boxes weren't linked....not true at all, it happens on the main DVR and every little sun box around the house. There has to be a fix to this....or do I just get another provider and leave Comcast/xfinity?

Hi,

If you see this again, would you mind posting the name of the programa and the approximate time that you played it back?

Thanks!

Gwen
