I usually change channels by entering the number on the remote keypad. This pops up the search box on the right side of the screen. The first listing has historically been the actual channel for the number I typed (and the other listings are based on searching the letters associated with those numbers). I no longer get the channel (only the other results)! So I can't change channels unless I use the guide or voice. I've power cycled the box. Any other ideas?
when I try to tune into a channel manually by pressing the numeric buttons it gives me shows instead of the channel I want.
I'm used to manually changing my channl with the keypad but it seems like it works when it wants to work.
I have the same problem with my 2 set top boxes. I have to go to Guide to change a channel. Can anyone shed light on this issue?
My voice won't work. It says there's a problem right now.
I am having the same exact problem. I enter a channel number and I get search results unrelated to the channel i want to go to.
Dalton22 -- I don't know where you're located. I'm in SW Florida and the exact same problem started this afternoon for me -- worked fine this morning. I can only change channels using the channel up/down button or if I use the voice function, but I have to mention the channel number. It won't work if I say "NBC", "History Channel", etc. If I punch in channel numbers on the remote, it says "no results found". If I scroll through the guide and find a channel I want and hit the okay button, it also says "no results found". I did a system refresh as well as a re-boot. No success. Sounds like an X1 system issue.
