Can I use a smart tv to get comcast and get rid of a box?

I have 6 cable boxes and a few smart tvs would I be able to use the smart tv to access comcast/cable? Get rid of a few charges/boxes and save some money or no?

If one of those happen to be a Roku tv, download Stream tv app.

note that the Roku is free only during the beta testing of the Xfinity Stream TV app. most guesses place after-beta price of around $7 - $8 month. An HD box is only $9.99 per month and includes all apps, and ability to pause live TV as well as see the image when rewinding and fast-forwarding video.
