Cable box works, TV has blue sreen with no signal

Cable box works, TV has blue sreen with no signal

Replaced (bedroom) cable from wall to box, new HDMI cable, everything set on HDMI 1, all connections tight, all cables/cords installed per user guide.  Rebooted, refreshed, new signal, and various suggested 'Fixes'.  Living room TV has no issues and is fine.  Any other ideas as to why bedroom tv still says 'no signal'.  Was working fine until a storm went thru the area a couple days ago.

Very possible the box is bad and needs to be replaced. Swap one of your other boxes into that location so you can see if the problem is the box or the location.

Adding to Rick, did you try different tv input. Or a different device on the tv to see if it's the tv or not. Storms/lightning/power surges don't care what electronics it takes out, if that's the case.

Edit:unless the box is presently unplugged, it's not communicating at all. Swap the box.

Hello notsavy, were you able to test this with moving another box to that location?
