welcome new version notice

why doesn't the "welcome to the new xfinity home" notice go away after i have taken the tour and want to use the site. becomes very annoying,

I understand & appreciate you taking the time to reach out and let us know.  Currently this feature allows users to perform 3 functions.  It allows users to take a tour, like you mentioned, but it also allows users to provide feedback & return to the old version of the website.
