Initially when I ordered xfinity home customer service told me that motion detection will be present in camera and it will record small clips if some camera activity happens.
after installion xfinity home looks like they dont have this feature. when I called customer service today they told me that this feature is launched last month.
when I asked billing to enable it ( as customer service said they need to transfer my call to billing to be able to activate this service) , billing denied having any such feature.
I am really confused.

I am thinking of going to simple things and cancelling xfinity homes. ( I would prefer to use xfinity home as there system has some advantages, I had high hopes but at this point I am disappointed by customer service & tech service not giving me correct info and charging me huge money for installtion & labor changes)

Thanks for reply. I have made atleast 10 calls to comcast customer support. everytime support told me that my camera has motion detectecion and they should be recording clips of 14 sec when motion is detected. this is not happening.
can xfinity home fix this ? I think you will get lot of new customer if you have feature like this.
I apologize for the confusion! Xfinity Home is in the process of releasing a new 24/7 camera recording feature, where cameras will sense motion & record video clips. We are rolling this feature out market by market.

Do you have any timeline for this feature to be released? Can comcast gives me gurranty that I will be able to cancel my xfinity home without paying early termination if this feature is not released in next 3 months?
