Your email notifications are based on rules. You can enable/disable or edit rules on the Xfinity Home subscriber Portal. The following help article details the process.
Just got a Xfinity Home installed and i get email notifications for everytime the alarm is armed or disarmed. I can't find a way to edit. The "rules" in automation are preset and seem uneditable. Is there a way to allow me to edit. To get a notification for an alarm alert you have to have a contact in the system, which them automatically includes the contact on teh email list for the other two rules.
This is a fault and needs resolution!
I had the same problem... it doesn't seem like you can disable these notifications through the touchpad controller or the website. However if you install the phone app then you can change the settings. Pretty annoying.
