Fax won't work, no dial tone w/high speed

I can't get a dial tone for my fax.  I switched to the triple play so I have my phone, internet and cable all together.  My fax is Windows XP and I have dial options but I don't know what to choose to get a dial tone and Windows is no help.  How do I get a dial tone using my computer?

This really belong in the Comcast Digital Voice section. It sounds like you want to connect the fax modem in your computer to the phone line? If so, it's just like any other phone, but I don't know if CDV handles fax signals. Otherwise, to use the Internet for faxing, you probably need to subscribe to some on-line service.
