xfinity tv on the internet blocks me from seeing channels I pay for 50% of the time!!

Whenever I log into my xfinity account online I use the same process and it always recognizes my user name and password, but half the time it only allows me to watch basic cable programming and uses the orange key to bock me out of nickelodeon, cartoon network, etc., as well as HBO which I pay good money for: claiming that I need a subscription!

This happens randomly during the day, but always happens between 11pm to 6am.  I just want to watch some tv without botherring the rest of the house. Why is this happening???

I have the same problem and when I log on for help it always says this help center is being updated check back later. Have they given you an answer to why this is happening? this service costs alot of money and I want the service I am paying for. All of the tiume not some of the time. And if they cannot provide it I'll go somewhere they can.

Re: xfinity tv on the internet blocks me from seeing channels I pay for 50% of the ti

One time I went through the whole process of calling and going through it with customer service. It just happened to work that time which was lucky, and the cll ended there.

Since then it has happened alot more often. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. A strange thing is when I check my account page when this is going on, it actually says I should have access to pay networks that I am not subscribed to (of course they don't work either when I try to access them Smiley Sad

Hi all,

Try these steps in order:

-Delete your cookies and cache then try again.

-Go here and remove all your authorized devices then try again.

-Try using a different web browser like Safari, Chrome, or Firefox and try again. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

Let me know the results.

Thanks,
Joe
