xfinity online doesn't work for some episodes

xfinity online doesn't work for some episodes

normally when i click on an episode to watch it opens a video witch immediately shows the rating of the show and then the show begins...however certain episodes of many shows will not load. i get to the video screen but it stays black. i never even get a rating

Please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.

Also, please send the URLs of the videos that you are trying to watch.

I have been haveing the same problem but because some videos work and some do not  it is not a browser or silverlight problem. So how about you give us an actual answer, not some generic troubleshoot thing. i have been looking all around the internet for a solution and have found nothing and i am quite agrovated because this has been a persistant problem for months. give us an answer NOW.

internet explorer is the same way.. i use firefox as my default. also tried chrome which seems to work more often then firefox however the problem is still there

Do you have any anti-virus or ad blocking software installed on your computer?

Try disabling you Avast software and then try playing a video again. Regardless if the video works or not, then enable your anti-virus software again. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.
