xfinity.com streaming giving error 900 for past few days

When I try to log into xfinity.com and view my favorite shows/any movies I get

Sorry, we've experienced some difficulty playing your video.

Please refresh this page in your browser to try again.

(Error 900|7005-3321-1090519056)

I am currently unable to use this service, and it is rather upsetting.  Nothing has recently changed with my system or browser, and I have been using the service nearly every day until it stopped working.  Please help.

How about almost every show / episode I attempt to watch - Its almost comical that the advertisements come through without a problem and I have Never experienced a network congestion / failure with them.

Way to go Comcast!

Try updating your Firefox to the newest version (15) and then try again.

If you are still seeing this issue, try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

Also, the full error message is 900|3307.0? There is nothing after the ".0"?

Thanks,
Joe

I have a few follow up questions:

Is 900 the full error code or is there other numbers after the 900?

What specific videos are you trying to watch?

Have you tried any other web browser and see if it worked?

Thanks,
Joe

Re: xfinity.com streaming giving error 900 for past few days

If this is a backwards compatibility issue xfinity needs to allow their system to be backwards compatible. Not every computer can support the massive new updates that Chrome, Firefox, and Explorer demand. While they can run high quality video they cannot run HD and the enormous browsers. For the record I am using a computer that I annimate HD video of higher quality and detail than the 3D Pixar movies and yet I have to watch low res video when I stream because of bad programming on Comcasts end. Get it together Comcast!!
