xfinity TVs application not working after update

I updated the xfinity player application on my Lenovo tablet now it force closes and won't let me even open the application. I have unistalled and reinstalled numerous times still get the same thing. "The application Player( process com.xfinity.playnow) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force close/ report
