volume control problems

Have two tv sets.  One works fine with the remote control on cable operating all functions.  The other suddenly will not change volume unless I press tv,  change volume then push cable.  On cable it will not change tv volume.

Re: volume control problems

Global Volume Lock will force the volume and mute keys to be controlled by one device.

  1. Press and hold the "Setup" key until a device key blinks twice.
  2. Type in the code 993. A device key should blink twice.
  3. Press and release the device key for the device you want the volume locked to.
  4. You will get two blinks if the lock is successful.

Re: volume control problems

PERFECT.   Thank you very much.  There had been another forum answer that did not work but yours worked great.
