unable to watch Xfinity TV on computer away from home

unable to watch Xfinity TV on computer away from home

I can access my Xfinity programming on my desktop computer while at home, but when I am away from home I sometimes want to watch my Xfinity TV on a computer. I sign in using my normal user name and password and everything seems to be fine until I select a show to watch. I hit the play button and then either I get a message saying that "this show is intended for mature audiences" (I have parental controls turned off) or it sits there buffering forever. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Re: unable to watch Xfinity TV on computer away from home

As for the buffering, are you using a WiFi connection when away from home? WiFi has slower speeds than a hard wire connection.  If you can hard wire and check the result.  It could also be that if the Mature Audiences screen went away it would also buffer forever.

Some computers also have parental controls.

Which browser are you using (Internet Explorer 11)?  If you have more than one browser have you tried them all?
