to go app download interrrupted message

For the past 3 weeks everytime I try to download something to my android tablet it says download interrupted. I have tried deleting the app & then reinstalling it but then I lose what I have downloaded. I hate to lose what I have downloaded because I am afraid I won't be able to download anything else & we are leaving for vacation soon. I have some movies for the kids to watch on the plane. This happens at work & at home so I don't think it is the internet connection. Anyone have any clue how to fix this?
