tiling and pixilation

tiling and pixilation

For months now we have had a tiling and pixilation problem and no one fixes it.  Our boxes were replaced, the wiring checked and no inside problems were found. A new drop from the pole to the house was installed.  All tech's who have come say the infrastructure in the area is old and that is causing problems.  So why then am I paying for poor quality TV signal and service ..no problems with internet, no problems with phone service and recent switch to xfinity mobile no problems...but they can't fix TV pixilation and still charge an arm and a leg for substandard service.  When will someone from xfinity just tell me the truth about the problem.

Re: tiling and pixilation

Tiling and "pixelation" is an incoming signal problem. There is little else it can be.

If you have had Comcast techs out you need another. Unfortunately sometimes you need to dog Comcast to get these things fixed. I have down this road with Comcast.

Seek out the local Cable TV Commission that serves your area. From what I understand, if you file a complaint with them, legally Comcast must respond. Back in 2004 that is what I had to do in  order to get my Comcast issues fixed. It took six months but it finally got fixed.
