syfy and amc streaming issues

I have tried using different devices and PCs as well as different internet connections but it is always the same result, the SyFy and AMC channels pause and skip so badly while trying to watch live TV that it is unwatchable.  Other channels, that I do not care to watch, stream just fine though.  It is only these two, there may be others but I have not tried every channel available online.

 

Please fix this.  I know the problem is not on my end.

I've been having the same problem. Blast! service must be controlled within your router. Look for QOS (Quality of Service) settings area under Wi-Fi settings and make sure QOS is ON. For extra benefit, I made sure to use WMM as well for my 2.4 and 5Ghz Wi-Fi streaming. NOW that this has been done, I can watch any channel online without streaming errors or quality issues. Things actually seem smooth as can be. BEWARE that your broadband speeds when tested will actually be lower than 105Mbps/10Mpbs - but who cares as long as streaming and gaming work at the highest quality. The COMCAST/XFINITY service technicians do not look into these QOS settings. They simply prefer to swap equipment and run a simple speedtest.net check. If you need a router with QOS settings available, I use a Netgear R6100 and it works perfectly.
