small cable box in kitchen will not get power

small cable box in kitchen will not get power

My small cable box in the kitchen suddenly stop working.  I went to xfinity and swapped out the box.  Took the new box home and could not get it to get power.  I plugged it in to different outlets, but it did not get power.  I took the new box back and explained what happened.  Just for the heck of it, I had the customer service rep plug in the box at comcast.  Didn't it light up!!  Now what's up with that?  I obviously have power and my outlets are fine, (I did try other electrics in the outlets).  Now what do I do?

Replace the power supply, not the box. It doesn't take much for DTA power supplies to stop working.

Some of the small Coomcast boxes won't show any hardware lights, or anything else for that matter, if there's no signal.
