set top box light

set top box light

Yes I love the new set top box's. Their great one has a white led clock which works well at night like a night light across the floor. The one in my master though does not have a clock . good for me I dont need one in their . but at night their is a 2 inch long blue ember light that will only go off with the button on top of the box . nothing more annoying then using remote turn things off . then out corner of my eye a bright blue light in my eyes .

Please save my sleep !!!!

Re: set top box light

What model is the problem box? It should be on a label on the bottom if it's not obvious elsewhere. If you don't need to see that amber light normally, you could use something like black tape (electrical, duct) to cover it up. Just be careful that there isn't the remote IR sensor close by that you also end up covering.
