Can I record a specified channel by time AND day of week?  This feature was available with a competitor and would be helpful here. Please consider adding this capability.

as a one-time event yes (up to two weeks based on the guide available). as a repeating recording, no. What is it you are trying t record that the schedule is not working for you?
