"You just watched" persists, but I missed the end

"You just watched" persists, but I missed the end

I've had this problem a couple times in the past, but am currently having it with Orphan Black, episode s2e2. I started it last night, but fell asleep during the episode. Now, whenever I click on "Replay", or a fresh play of the episode, I get the screen

You just watched Orphan Black S2|E2 "Governed By Sound Reason and True Religion"

  1. Replay
  2. Other Episodes

Clicking on Replay activates a "Loading Video" screen for a couple of seconds, but then defaults back to the same screen.

Re: "You just watched" persists, but I missed the end

I've been complaining about this problem (as well as other advertisement issues) on and off for more than six months, I mentioned it in this thread (http://forums.comcast.com/t5/XfinityTV-Website/Commercials-Freeze/td-p/1979759/page/2) on March 24th with an episode of The Mentalist. There is a thread about advertisement related issues that was started by one of the Comcast support people that occasionally posts in the forums "ComcastJoe", you can read what he says and reply with the requested information and hopefully something will be done about it: http://forums.comcast.com/t5/XfinityTV-Website/Ad-Issue-during-Video-Playback-on-http-xfinitytv-comc...

The only other thing I can say is that in most cases with any regular network show i.e. ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, SyFy etc. you can go to the networks own website and watch the remainder of the episode from there. I'm sorry to say that BBC America doesn't seem to offer episode streaming from their website, although it does have the premiere episode of Orphan Black available to watch but no other episodes.

I hope this helps!

There is a "recently watched" list--if you delete the show from that list and try again, then everything should work just fine.
