"The requested operation requires elevation"

It has been over a week since I was last able to watching ANYTHING on XFinity. Every time I try to download the newest version of Microsoft Silverlight this error pops up. Can anyone help me? I am very frustrated do to the fact I have not been able to catch up on any of my TV shows, nor watch any movies. I have uninstalled Microsoft Silverlight from my laptop and currently do not have it, anywhere. I own a Sony Viao Laptop and it runs Windows7. What do I need to do to be able to get past this "extraction failed" error? Can anyone help me, please?

You will get this prompt because the way your computer is set up, Silverlight will need to be run as an administrator.
