no picture, no sound

TVs in bedrooms get no sound and no picture, just snow; one with built-in DVD works fine.  Main TV in living room works fine.

How do I get picture and sound in bedroom TVs?

How sure are you that the cable outlets in those locations are live?  Normally, feeds for different rooms are located where the Cable feed comes into the house and are connected with a splitter ( attic, basement ) and in some cases from outlet to outlet with splitters buried inside the outlet.
