iPhone Xfinity TV app wont find Cable Box

I have the Xfinity TV app on my iphone, and whenever i try and change the name, settings, or channels, it wont let me. i dont know what i need to do to be able to change those things? my cable box is compatable, i checked. any help would be great.

so what cable box is it?  it takes a few days for the sych to happen once you initiate it.  Have you gone to remote access set up in your cable box menu and followed the instructions there to set it up??


This only works on motorola boxes or Cisco SA boxes where you can get multiroom dvr.


What does it say on your xfinity account page under devices and cable boxes?  are they listed correct there.???
